The Meridian Line in the Basilica



The Meridian line is a sort of sundial in the basilica. It was built to produce a tool to exactly predict Easter.

Basilica di Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri


The basilica was built inside the tepidarium of the baths of Diocletian. Michelangelo provided the original design for the church.
